Griffin-Crescent Alumni Chapter

Our History
The Griffin-Crescent Alumni Chapter of Albany State University was chartered March 1989 in Griffin, Georgia. Our goal was to organize graduates of Albany State to provide financial support of ASU and promote the recruitment of quality students from the area.

The Chapter’s name, Griffin-Crescent, reflects the service area which includes ASU alumni from Griffin and the surrounding crescent areas of Fayette, Henry, Clayton, South Fulton, and parts of DeKalb counties.

The charter members of the Griffin-Crescent Alumni Chapter are: Sandra Bowden, Louise Britt, Lynda Daniel, Fannie Delaney, Vanessa Heggie-McClure, Shirley McDaniel, Mary Morris, Ralph Morris and June Pace.

We enable members to maintain connections with fellow graduates and serve as a value source/point of contact for information about Albany State University. Currently, chapter membership is opened to spouses, parents, and friends interested in supporting Albany State University.

Over the years our chapter has grown to be mighty force in supporting our beloved ASU, it's students and graduates!!!
